EBRD's Morozov elected chairman of RusAg supervisory board
MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - The supervisory board of Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) elected Denis Morozov as the board's chairman on September 11, the bank said in a statement.
As reported, RusAg shareholders elected supervisory board members in late June. Elected to the board were RusAg Chairman Dmitry Patrushev; the rector of the Financial University under the Russian government, Mikhail Eskindarov; Deputy Agriculture Minister Dmitry Yuryev; director of the Strategic Initiatives Agency New Business division, Artyem Avetisyan; the former governor of Kurgan region, Oleg Bogomolov; Morozov, who is the Russian representative in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) board of directors, and Deputy Finance Minister Andrei Ivanov.
Eskindarov had headed the RusAg's supervisory board since February 2014.
RusAg, which is wholly owned by the government, was Russia's sixth largest bank by assets, according to the Interfax-100 ranking at the end of H1 2014.
