NSDC: Ukrainian army loses 3 men killed, 2 wounded in past 24 hours

KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax) - Three servicemen died and twelve were released from captivity in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Information Analysis Center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said.

"As of 9 a.m. three Ukrainian servicemen had been killed and two had been injured," Lysenko said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

On September 15, the Ukrainian Security Service's interdepartmental center completed protracted negotiations and achieved the release of five border guards captured in hostilities near Novoazovsk on August 25, three servicemen and four members of the National Guard.
