Ukrainian military shells Donetsk - militia

DONETSK. Aug 16 (Interfax) - A bus terminal in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk was shelled on Tuesday, the headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic's militia reported.

The shelling attack was launched at about 1 p.m. local time. A commuter bus was hit.

"No one was killed, according to information available to us, but these reports are being verified. A shell hit a bus directly. The driver was wounded," the headquarters told Interfax.

Sources in the militia also said that the attack was not accidental. "There are neither militia patrols, nor positions there," the sources said. Emergency situations services are working at the scene. The wounded victims have been hospitalized.

The Donetsk City Council earlier reported that a shell had hit a commuter bus, killing a woman and wounding another passenger.
