Russian Foreign Ministry: Truce in east Ukraine in danger from Kyiv war party
MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Moscow blames those supporting the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict by force for the possible failure of truce in eastern Ukraine and demands that the attempts to breach the ceasefire regime stop.
"Attempts by the Kyiv "party of war" to thwart the truce must be resolutely stopped by those who have a genuine interest in the termination of the bloodshed," Russian Foreign Ministry Human Rights Ombudsman Konstantin Dolgov tweeted.
"There must be no more murders of people in south-eastern Ukraine," he said.
The ombudsman added that Moscow was following the human rights and supremacy of law monitoring of Ukraine conducted by the United Nations and the OSCE.
Dolgov said he was concerned about the report released by the OSCE on September 11, which said more than 3,000 people, including about 30 children, had died in eastern Ukraine.
