RUIE request to release Yevtushenkov could be delivered to Putin on Thursday - Shokhin

MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - The President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), Alexander Shokhin, told reporters on Wednesday he will try to deliver the request of the to release Vladimir Yevtushenkov, who has been placed under house arrest, during a State Council meeting on Thursday, he told reporters on Wednesday.

The request has yet to be agreed within the RUIE before it reaches the head of state, Shokhin said.
