Tbilisi's foreign policy heeds relations with Moscow - envoy Abashidze
TBILISI. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Tbilisi seeks to pursue a foreign policy that "should not meet any serious obstacles on the part of Russia," the Georgian prime minister's envoy for relations with Russia, Zurab Abashidze, told reporters on Friday.
When commenting on the U.S. Senate's September 18 resolution reaffirming a strategic partnership with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, Abashidze said that this document would become "a major step toward enhancing Georgia's security."
"I believe that Georgia's security will seriously improve if this resolution receives final endorsement," he said.
