Municipalities might start collecting special levies in 2015 - Siluanov

SOCHI. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Special levies, which could replace the implementation of a sales tax, will be transferred to the budgets of the municipalities and they may begin collecting in as early as 2015, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told journalists at an investment forum in Sochi Friday.

"We are hoping [this starts] in 2015. In any case, we'll implement amendments to tax legislation so that the municipalities have such a possibility starting 2015," he said.
