Israel ready to extradite Russian priest Grozovsky - source
MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax) - The Israeli authorities are ready to extradite Russian pries Gleb Grozovsky, who is accused of child molestation in Russia, a source with knowledge of the situation told Interfax on Thursday.
"Israel has made an decision on Gleb Grozovsky's extradition. The extradition procedure will begin in the very near future," the source said.
The source could not say when the priest will be extradited, saying the extradition procedure is very complex in the Israeli legislation. "The lawyers for the accused are most likely to appeal and do everything to prevent this decision from being enforced," the source said.
