Copy of order removing names of troops allegedly killed in Ukraine from lists fake - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry said the copies of the order issued by the commander of Unit 12128 on the removal of the troops allegedly killed in Ukraine from the unit's lists, which had been posted on the Internet, are fake.

"There have never been such troops, let alone the officials who allegedly signed that 'order,' in the command of Unit 12128," Major-General Igor Konashenkov, an official with the Russian Defense Ministry, told reporters, commenting on the excerpt from the order posted on the website of Yelena Vasilyeva, a representative of a public organization.

"The first thing I would like to reiterate is that there could be no order in principle. It's a cheap fake, which Ms Vasilyeva apparently sold to her curators in the Ukrainian special services at a high price. It is not an accident that this nonsense was published in her blog and on Ukrainian propaganda sites simultaneously in the early hours of September 24," he said.
