Statement banning other armed forces' presence in Caspian region may be adopted in Astrakhan - Kremlin official

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - A draft political statement expected to be adopted at a summit of the Caspian littoral states in the Russian city of Astrakhan on September 29 will ban countries outside the region from deploying their armed forces in the Caspian Sea area, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters on Friday.
