Russian Emergency Situations Ministry plane to bring approx. 27 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Serbia

MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry plane will deliver about 27 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Serbia, ministry spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky told Interfax.

In his words, the humanitarian cargo will be delivered on the Russian government's orders.

"An Ilyushin Il-76 plane of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry carrying the humanitarian cargo departed from the Ramenskoye airfield for Belgrade at 9:10 a.m. The plane is transporting food, warm clothes, blankets and household appliances," Drobyshevsky said.

In all, 27 tonnes of humanitarian cargo will be delivered by the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry plane.
