DPR says Ukrainian shell kills eight at bus stop
DONETSK. Oct 1 (Interfax) - A Ukrainian shell has killed eight people at a bus stop on Kiyvskyi Avenue in Donetsk, a source in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) press center told reporters.
"It has happened today. The explosion occurred precisely at a bus stop. A mini-bus was standing there at the moment. Eight people died in the explosion," the press center said.
There is a school near the bus stop, it said, adding that two people were killed in the school area as a result of the bombardment.
In turn, the press service of the Donetsk region state administration pointed the finger at the militia and said that one of its rocket launchers had hit a mini-bus, killing six people and injuring one.
A rocket launcher shell hit an Etalon mini-bus on route No17, Mirny neighborhood - Shcheglovka, at 10 a.m. Six people were killed and one was injured, says a report posted on the state administration's website.
