Yury Lyubimov dies in Moscow hospital - source
MOSCOW. Oct 5 (Interfax) - Yury Lyubimov, an outstanding theater director and founder of the Taganka Theater, has died in Moscow at the age of 97, a medical source has told Interfax.
"Lyubimov died in the Botkin hospital where he had been brought earlier this week in serious condition," the source said.
"Doctors did everything possible to help him return to his feet but the sickness proved more powerful," the source said.
It was reported on Thursday, October 2 that the founder of the Taganka Theater was rushed to hospital.
