Domodedovo airport requests S&P rating to raise NWF funds
MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Moscow's CJSC Domodedovo International Airport has requested a ratings evaluation from international ratings agency Standard & Poor's in order to receive funds from the National Welfare Fund (NWF), the agency said on Friday.
Domodedovo has been assigned a long-term rating of "BB+" and a short-tern rating of "B" with stable outlook.
"Receiving a credit rating of the necessary level is one of the conditions for the ability to use funds of the National Welfare Fund. In connection with the review of this variant as part of Domodedovo's concept for the future development of airport infrastructure, the airport has gone through the necessary procedure," Domodedovo told Interfax.
"The parameters and terms of raising [funds] are subject to additional discussion with the appropriate government bodies," Domodedovo said.
