Over 700 poisoned by smoking blends in Russia this fall, over 25 fatally - Ivanov
MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Over 700 people have been poisoned by smoking blends in Russia this fall, about 25 of them have died, said Viktor Ivanov, the head of Russia's Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN).
"Over 700 instances of poisoning have been registered to date, more than 25 of them were fatal," Ivanov told the State Anti-Drug Committee on Monday.
"Most affected areas include the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Kirov region, and the Republic of Bashkortostan," Ivanov said.
