Russia, Paraguay introduce visa-free travel from Oct 20
MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - An intergovernmental agreement signed between Russia and Paraguay in New York on September 25, 2013, introducing visa-free bilateral travel will become effective on October 20, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"Under the Agreement, Russian Federation citizens and Republic of Paraguay citizens, who are in possession of valid passports that allow border crossings can travel to, from and via, and stay in, the other state without visas for up to 90 days during a 180-day period from the date of first entry," the ministry said on its website.
"Citizens of either state who intend to reside or stay in the other state for over 90 days, or work, or conduct a commercial activity in its territory, must obtain a visa in accordance with the law of the country of entry," the ministry said.
