Exxon Neftegas to provide $2 bln in services to Rosneft on Sakhalin shelf
MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL), the operator of the Sakhalin-1 production-sharing project, will conclude agreements with Rosneft to drill wells at the northern end of the Chayvo field, which lies adjacent to the Sakhalin-1 contract territory.
The overall value of deals approved by the Rosneft board of directors at an October 6 meeting is 82.4 billion rubles (about $2 billion).
They include a deal to drill and conduct hydrodynamic well testing worth 4.35 billion rubles (including VAT); drilling of three additional wells, performance of surveying work and construction of temporary and permanent facilities for the workup of Northern Chayvo; changes in pricing procedures and an increase in the total volume of the deal to 25.2 billion rubles, Rosneft said in a statement.
ENL will also provide services on oil and associated gas lifting, transportation of production to the acceptance point, reinjection of gas into the reservoir, and operation, technical maintenance and repair of Rosneft structures. The overall value of the deal is 43.25 billion rubles (including VAT).
In addition, the sides will conclude a deal worth 13.98 billion rubles (including VAT) on administration of oil shipment in accordance with current agreements between recipients of the oil, concluded by the Sakhalin-1 participants.
