Twelve civilians killed in Donetsk in 24 hours - Donetsk republic
DONETSK. Oct 12 (Interfax) -Twelve civilians have been killed in shelling attacks on Donetsk residential areas over the past 24 hours, a military spokesman of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic told journalists on Sunday.
"Twelve civilians have been killed, among them six women and one child," he said.
The city was shelled from Ukrainian military positions, he said, adding that, "there were neither militia positions, nor patrols where the shells exploded."
The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council said, meanwhile, that four Ukrainian troops have been wounded in the zone of the military operation in Donbas over the past 24 hours.
