DPR claims it does not hold prisoners with severe injuries
MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) militia transfers Ukrainian servicemen with severe injuries to Kyiv, DPR POW Committee Chairperson Darya Morozova told Interfax on Monday.
"We transfer all individuals with severe injuries to the Ukrainian side, we do not hold them captive. But, alas, this is a unilateral process, Kyiv does not transfer our wounded to us," Morozova said.
She also spoke about negotiations with Kyiv about the resumption of prisoner exchanges. "The exchanges have yet to resume but we are holding negotiations and a result will be achieved within a day or two," she said.
