Donetsk City Council says city not quiet again
KYIV. Oct 13 (Interfax) - The sound of explosions and gunfire can be heard in Donetsk, the city authorities' website have reported.
"Donetsk was not quiet as of 12:30 p.m. The sound of heavy gunfire and explosions can be heard in practically every district," the City Council said in a report published on Monday.
Public utility systems are working, it said.
Temporary power outages are possible in the Kirovsky district because of routine maintenance of a cotton factory substation.
"Workers are repairing a damaged water pipe on the intersection of Bashkyrska and Artemovska Streets, which brings water to several water stations of the city. Welding is in progress," the City Council said.
