Russian budget surplus 2.1% of GDP in Jan-Sept - MinFin
MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Russia had a federal budget surplus of 1.11 trillion rubles, or 2.1% of GDP, in January-September, the Finance Ministry said, citing preliminary data.
Budget revenue was 10.698 trillion rubles, or 75.1% of approved budget revenue for the year, and cash expenditures amounted to 9.588 trillion rubles or 68.7% of the year's approved spending and 68.2% of adjusted spending.
There was a primary federal budget surplus of 1.452 trillion rubles, or 2.8% of GDP.
GDP was approximately 52.54 trillion rubles.
In September, the federal budget had a deficit of 138 billion rubles or 2% of GDP.
Oil and gas revenue in January-September was 5.495 trillion rubles or 73.5% of the forecast for the year. Non-oil revenue in this period was 5.203 trillion rubles or 77%.
The Federal Tax Service provided 4.71 trillion rubles to the federal budget or 77.3% of the year's forecast tax revenue, the Federal Customs Service - 5.038 trillion rubles or 70.5% and the Federal Property Agency - 227.8 billion rubles or 154.3%.
Other federal agencies transferred 721.8 billion rubles to the budget or 85.6% of this year's forecast federal budget revenue. Excluding income from transfers of part of the profit of the Central Bank and the management of funds from the Reserve Fund and the National Welfare Fund, revenue totaled 617.7 billion rubles (84.5% of the budgeted figure for 2014).
