No official refusal to deliver Mistral ships - Russian minister
MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Russia has not been officially notified of any refusal to deliver the Mistral-type helicopter carriers built in France, and the delivery deadline remains unchanged, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told reporters.
"We have not received any official refusal. The deadline set by the contract remains unchanged," he said.
All questions concerning the Mistral ships should be referred to the Russian Defense Ministry, which acts as the customer in this project, Manturov said.
Manturov also said that his personal views should be treated as an expert opinion of the [Industry and Trade] ministry, which is participating in the project as well.
