Capital outflow from Russia-focused funds at $62 mln in week - EPFR
MOSCOW. Oct 17 (Interfax) - Funds focused on Russian equities saw net capital outflow of $62 million between October 9 and October 15 of this year versus outflow of $68.9 million the week before, according to data from Emerging Portfolio Fund Research (EPFR).
According to a report from Sberbank Investment Research, outflow has reached $1.106 billion since the beginning of the year.
In addition, funds focused exclusively on the Russian stock market demonstrated a positive dynamic. These funds attracted $50.6 million on October 9-15. Outflow for this group of funds has fallen to $788.7 million over the last 12 months. Additionally, Global Emerging Markets (GEM) funds took $60.5 million out of Russia.
