PACE representatives to monitor Ukraine elections
BRUSSELS. Oct 21 (Interfax) - A 36-member Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) delegation is expected to arrive in Ukraine to monitor the parliamentary elections set for October 26.
The delegation will be in Ukraine from October 24 to 28 to monitor the early parliamentary elections in cooperation with observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, European Parliament, NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the OSCE's Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the Council of Europe's press service informed Interfax on Tuesday.
The delegates are expected to meet with the leaders and representatives of political parties running for parliament, members of election commissions, members of the media and representatives of nongovernmental organizations.
