Putin, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to discuss energy cooperation in Sochi on Oct 23
MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a working trip to Sochi on October 23-24, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.
"On that day, the Russian head of state will meet with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan," the report said.
"The two sides will discuss the entire range of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and the Emirates, primarily investment and energy issues, and exchange opinions on pressing items on the regional agenda," the report said.
Putin will attend the final plenary session of the 11th Meeting of the Valdai International Debate Club on October 24. The meeting's theme is "World Order: New Rules or No Rules?"
"The plenary session will summarize the results of the three-day meeting of the club and analyze factors of the erosion of the existing network of institutes and international legal norms," the Kremlin said.
A hundred and eight experts, historians and policy experts from 25 countries, among them 62 foreign delegates, are taking part in the club meeting this year.
