IAC makes detailed reconstruction of Falcon jet crash

MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - The debris of the plane which crashed at Moscow's Vnukovo on Monday night, have been collected and a reconstruction of the air accident made, says Sergey Zaiko, first deputy head of the Interstate Aviation Commission (IAC).

"The commission is currently approaching the final part of the field stage of the investigation. All fragments of the aircraft structure have been collected at the crash scene," he told a press conference.

They were assembled near a hangar and will be moved to an open hangar tomorrow, he said.

"Samples fuels and lubricants have been taken and a full analysis will be conducted in the future, both of elements of the fuselage, and of the assembled fragments," he said.

The snowplow has also been assessed, Zaiko said. "A reconstruction of the air accident has been made," he said.

Investigators "have assessed the damage to the snowplow and made the so-called croquis (a sketch) for the air accident," said the IAC deputy chief.

Zaiko said that police are gathering all documentation pertaining to the work of the airport's air traffic controllers and organizers.

"We are analyzing the interaction, analyzing the recordings from video surveillance cameras, from radars, from air traffic controller's tape recorders. This job has already been completed in part and is now being documented," he said.
