Poroshenko says coalition pact ready for future parliament
KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday said his team had already drafted a coalition agreement between political groups in the parliament to be elected on Sunday.
"My team has already drafted a coalition agreement. It is based on Strategy 2020. It is our plan for change, a plan whose implementation would ensure implanting European standards of life and a worthy place for the country in the world. Before 2020, Ukraine must be ready to apply for membership in the European Union," Poroshenko said.
He promised to do everything under his control to bring the coalition and new government into being as soon as possible.
