Russian CEC officials monitored Ukraine polls within OSCE mission

MOSCOW. Oct 28 (Interfax) - Two Russian Central Election Commission officials, who worked at Ukraine's October 26 parliamentary polls within the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe electoral observation mission, visited polling stations in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Odesa and other Ukrainian cities, a source in Russia's CEC told Interfax in Tuesday.

"Two employees of our agency monitored the elections both in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, Odesa and other cities as part of the OSCE mission," the source said.

The mission administration will be informed of the results of their work, he said.

"They worked in accordance with the OSCE schedule, and the results of their monitoring will be forwarded to the administration of this mission. The CEC officials had been working on the territory of Ukraine for several days," the source said.
