COPERER finds no reason to change Russia sanctions
BRUSSELS. Oct 28 (Interfax) - Having conducted yet another analysis of the situation on Tuesday, the Committee of the Permanent Representatives of the European Union (COPERER) found no reason to change the sanctions regime imposed on Russia over the events in Ukraine, a source in the upper EU structures told Interfax.
The EU ambassadors discussed the effect of the EU sanctions on Russia and the real situation in Ukraine, the source said
Based on the assessment as a result of this discussion, the permanent representatives concluded that there is no reason at the moment to change the EU restrictive measures against Russia, he stressed.
