Antares crash will not affect life on board ISS - Russian MCC

KOROLYOV, Moscow region. Oct 29 (Interfax-AVN) - The crash of the U.S. rocket Antares spacecraft which was to deliver water, oxygen and foodstuff to the International Space Station (ISS), will not affect the life-sustaining services on the U.S. and Russian segments of the ISS, says Vladimir Solovyov, the head of missions for the Russian segment of the ISS.

"As regards water, foodstuffs, fuel, we have a certain reserve - for three to five months. This time is enough to restore life-sustaining services for cosmonauts and astronauts," he told reporters on Wednesday, commenting on the consequences of the U.S. rocket crash.
