DPR leader accuses Kyiv of derailing peace process in eastern Ukraine

DONETSK. Oct 31 (Interfax) - The prime minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko has accused Kyiv of disrupting the political process in southeastern Ukraine.

"We did everything in our power to put this situation back onto a political path, but Ukraine revoked its signatures from the document concerning the line of engagement between the conflicting sides," Zakharchenko said at a meeting with students from Donetsk National Technical University on Friday.

Hopefully, "the Ukrainian army will understand that its backbone has been broken and will stop these unlawful actions," he said.
