Poroshenko Bloc backs Yatsenyuk as candidate prime minister - party statement

KYIV. Oct 31 (Interfax) - Petro Poroshenko Bloc has announced its support for the candidacy of Arseniy Yatsenyuk for the office of the Ukrainian Prime Minister proposed by President Petro Poroshenko.

"The Petro Poroshenko Bloc Party will support the candidacy of Arseniy Yatsenyuk for the office of the prime minister in a new coalition government on the condition of a detailed agreement of a plan of joint activity," the party said in a statement on its website, citing a resolution made at the first session of the Bloc's future faction in Kyiv on Friday.
