Rosneft's access to Sakhalin Energy pipeline depends on increase in LNG production in Sakhalin-2 project

PERM. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Rosneft's access to Sakhalin Energy's gas pipeline through Sakhalin depends on the prospects for increasing liquefied natural gas (LNG) production in the Sakhalin-2 project, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.

"This currently concerns a feasibility study on the third phase of Sakhalin-2, and depending on this, the question of access will be resolved: either [connect] to the existing pipe or build an additional line that will provide access. Both options are possible. The companies have agreed between themselves. We don't see any unresolved issues here," he said.
