China and Russia must deepen cooperation whatever global changes may happen - Xi Jinping

BEIJING. Nov 10 (Interfax) - Russia and China should stick to their chosen line of cooperation despite the changes on the world arena. President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke to this end at their talks on Sunday.

"Whatever changes may take place in the international situation we must adhere to our chosen line, expand and deepen all-round mutually-beneficial cooperation," he said.

Putin also spoke of the importance of the interaction of the two countries on the international arena. "The interaction of Russia and China is extremely important for keeping the world within the boundaries of international law, making it more stable," he said.
