Russia's next aid convoy will be sent to southeast Ukraine in Nov - Russian minister

MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The next convoy of trucks carrying Russian humanitarian aid to Ukraine's southeastern regions will depart this month, as soon as all details are agreed, Russia's Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov has told reporters.

This will happen in November, "as soon as negotiations with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Ukrainian side are completed," Puchkov said.

Russia has sent six humanitarian aid convoys carrying food, essential items, medication, power generators, drinking water, sleeping bags, construction materials and fuel to Luhansk and Donetsk since August. The aid convoys were sent on August 22, September 13, September 30, October 31, November 2 and November 4. They delivered more than 7,000 tonnes of supplies to Ukraine's southeastern regions.

ICRC staff have not accompanied the aid and have not participated in its distribution.
