Gazprom Neft boosts hydrocarbon production 5.3% to 357 mln boe in 9M
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft increased hydrocarbon production 5.3% in January-September year-on-year to 357 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), the company said in a statement.
The growth came from fields in Orenburg region and at the Priobskoye field in Khanty-Mansii autonomous district, increases in Gazprom Neft's effective stakes in SeverEnergia and NortGaz, an increase in natural gas production and the rate of associated petroleum gas utilization, and growing use of new technologies at brownfields, the company said.
Daily hydrocarbon production, including stakes in joint ventures, rose 3.9% in Q3 2014 compared with Q2 2014 to 1.34 million boe.
Oil and condensate production in 9M 2014 rose 2.6% to 284.89 million barrels (38.66 million tonnes).
Gas production was up 16.1% to 12.26 billion cubic meters (bcm), mainly due to increased associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization and the larger stake in SeverEnergia and NortGaz.
Refining throughput totaled 33.5 million tonnes in the nine months, 4.2% more year-on-year, the result of a greater share of condensate in refining at the Omsk refinery, elimination of logistical constraints on dark oil product output at Omsk and a higher level of maintenance in 9M 2013.
Sales via premium channels rose 9.5% year-on-year to 19.4 million tonnes and sales through company retail locations were up 7.8% to 7.2 million tonnes.
