Deputy FM Ryabkov: Final nuclear deal with Iran can and must be made by Nov 24
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The Russian delegation is not considering a situation in which the P5+1 group and Iran may fail to reach a final nuclear deal by the November 24 deadline.
"We are not considering failure to reach the agreement by November 24; we are fully focused on this task because there is an opportunity [to do so] and this opportunity is a rather good one. It cannot be missed," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Interfax. He had taken part in the latest round of negotiations between political directors in Musqat, Oman.
"This can and must be done by November 24. I would like to emphasize that we have been doing a lot, some things are beyond our control but whenever we see a opportunity to make a constructive contribution to this process we do so, and we have done so at the Oman round," he emphasized.
