KYIV. Nov 13 (Interfax) - The deputy head of the Kyiv customs survived an assassination attempt in Kyiv on November 12, the press service for the Kyiv police told Interfax on Thursday.
The incident occurred when the official was near the customs building, the source said. An unknown man fired a shot at him.
"The victim is now in hospital in stable condition. A criminal case has been opened," the Kyiv police said.
