Putin shown "polite armored vehicles" at ONF-organized exhibition

MOSCOW. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Before heading to a forum held by All-Russia People's Front (ONF) President Vladimir Putin visited an exhibition organized by the same organization.

The exposition showcases the technologies aimed at import-substitution. On display are modern Russian developments in various fields such as medicine, laboratory diagnostics, sports and car making.

The head of state showed particular interest in an exposition displaying Russian technologies for monitoring oil and gas wells. Currently, our companies use services of our Western partners, which often results in their dependency in this sphere. The Russian president promised to revisit this subject later and discuss it in more detail.

The exhibition also showcased experimental products made by Novouralsk-based car makers: a symbiosis of an armored and motor vehicle under the common name of "polite armored vehicles."

"Polite armored vehicles? With the help of politeness and weapons one can do a lot more than just with the help of politeness," Putin said.
