Over 260 OSCE monitors deployed in Ukraine - Foreign Ministry
KYVI. Nov 18 (Interfax) - There were 261 members of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine, including 112 in Donbas, as of Monday, November 17, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry says.
"As of November 17, there were 261 monitors of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission from 39 countries in Ukraine, including 112 in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions," Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a press conference on Tuesday.
In particular, 29 of these monitors are citizens of the U.S., 18 Russia, 17 Germany, 14 the United Kingdom, and 14 Sweden, he said.
