Uzbek-Bulgarian JV postpones launch of $15 mln motor oil plant until May
TASHKENT. Nov 19 (Interfax) - The Uzbek-Bulgarian joint venture, Uz-Prista Recycling has postponed the launch of a plant for the regeneration (refining) of spent motor oils costing $15 million until 2015, a source in the JV's management told Interfax.
According to preliminary data, the plant will be launched in May of next year. The main reason for the change in schedule is the shortage in deliveries of technological equipment.
CV Uz-Prista Recycling is planning to build a plant for refining motor oils with a design capacity for the recycling of spent oils of up to 43,000 tonnes a year and the production of 30,000 tonnes of base oils a year.
Initially it was planned to launch the plant in April of 2013, then the launch was postponed until the middle of 2014.
