Korsik mulling departure from Bashneft, but sees task to bring oil co through difficult period

MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Bashneft President Alexander Korsik in an interview with Forbes said that he admits thinking about his possible departure from Bashneft.

"Yes," Korsik said to a relevant question.

Commenting on the question about whether or not he was ready to work at Bashneft, if the owner was changed, the oil company president said: "Here there are two factors. The first - am I needed, the second - am I ready. I don't think about that now. I want to go to work and find satisfaction in what I do. To go simply in order to earn money? I had such a time in my life, but it has long passed."

"Today there is a completely different task - I need to bring the company through this difficult period without any losses, and further on, life will show [the way]," Korsik said.
