Aeroflot boosts passenger traffic 13% in 10M to 19.9 mln passengers
MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Aeroflot Russian Airlines boosted passenger traffic 13% year-on-year in the first 10 months of 2014 to 19.9 million people, federal air transport agency Rosaviatsia said in a statement.
The company boosted passenger turnover 11.5% to 56.64 billion passenger-kilometers in the period. Seat occupancy edged down 0.3 percentage points to 79.3%.
Russia's five largest airlines - Aeroflot, Transaero , UTair , Sibir and Ural Airlines - boosted passenger traffic 11% in the 10M to 50.26 million, while passenger turnover was up 9.5% at 139.19 billion passenger kilometers.
