Russia produces 23% more gold in 10M

MOSCOW. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Russia increased production of unprocessed gold in ingots by 23.3% year-on-year in January-October, the Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

Production soared 20.1% year-on-year in October alone.

Production of ore and gold-bearing concentrates grew 10.8% year-on-year in 10M and 3.2% in October.

Production of platinum and its alloys fell 36.3% year-on-year in October and 3.7% in 10M.

Production of palladium and its alloys fell 5.7% in October but grew 2.6% in 10M.

Rosstat does not publish actual production figures for these metals.
