Rosatom Finance to raise $580 mln from Atomenergoprom as part of intra-group financing
MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Cyprus-based Rosatom Finance Ltd. is going to raise a loan of up to $579.5 million from Atomenergoprom's OJSC DEZ AES as part of intra-group financing.
According to documents published on the procurements website of Russian State Nuclear Energy Company Rosatom, the money will be made available until June 30, 2015, at no more than 6% p.a.
Rosatom previously told Interfax that Rosatom Finance Ltd. handles intra-group forex financing for the state corporation's divisions. The company is registered in Cyprus to save on conversions.
Atomenergoprom is part of Rosatom. The company does not carry out production activities, but consolidates the civil assets of the nuclear industry.
