Militia claim to have destroyed Ukrainian headquarters in Peski
MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - The Donetsk militia have said that they have destroyed a Ukrainian army headquarters in the populated area of Peski.
"According to the information available, the militia carried out a mortar attack on the building where the headquarters was located, destroying it," the agency Novorossiya reported on Monday.
The militia also reported on three fires, and casualties among the Ukrainian troops, the report says.
In the meantime, Ukraine's Channel 5 television reported earlier, citing the headquarters of the military operation, that the militia had continued to attack Donetsk airport and Ukrainian military positions near Peski, adding that "the troops have repelled the enemy's attacks."
In the meantime, the Ukrainian headquarters said that at least five civilians had been killed in an attack by the militia on the city of Avdiyivka. According to the Ukrainian troops, their positions came under fire on Sunday.
