Moscow regularly draws OSCE's attention to Kyiv forces build-up in conflict area - top Russian diplomat
MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Moscow has regularly drawn the attention of its Western colleagues in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to Kyiv's efforts to regroup and further amass its forces in the conflict area in southeastern Ukraine, but OSCE monitors have not mentioned this information in their reports, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov told Interfax.
"The Ukrainian side is regrouping its forces and is sending more weapons there, but information on that score coming from the monitors has not reached the Permanent Council in Vienna for some reason," Meshkov said.
"Our permanent representative has to draw our colleagues' attention to it all the time," he said.
The absence of a solution to this issue "causes tensions in the southeast of Ukraine and hampers progress in the search for a peaceful resolution to this situation," Meshkov said.
