China's ICBC to help Transaero raise capital
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Transaero Airlines has signed a deal with Chinese state bank ICBC to raise investment for its shareholder capital.
"ICBC will provide a range of legal and marketing services to raise investment for the capital of Transaero," the company said.
This is not the first time the airline and the bank have done business: Transaero and ICBC Leasing have an agreement on the lease of six A321 planes, the first of which Transaero will receive in 2015.
Transaero is Russia's second biggest airline by passengers. Its main shareholders are Alexander and Olga Pleshakov.
