Ten policemen killed, 28 injured in counterterrorist operation in Grozny - National Antiterrorist Committee

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Most gunmen who apparently planned terrorist attacks in Grozny have been killed, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee announced on Thursday afternoon.

"Displaying selflessness in performing their civic and official duty, ten members of territorial police departments have been killed and 28 injured in the counterterrorist operation," it said.

The operation and investigation against the gunmen is continuing, it said.
