Putin: Russia cannot be pressured, don't even try
MOSCOW. Dec 5 (Interfax) - External attempts to pressure Russia will be futile, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"As to Russia "being pressured" from every side. Well, you are slightly overstating, no one is pressuring us, actually, they are trying to push us a bit and definitely not from every side. The arms of those who want to do so are too short to pressure us from every side," Putin told ombudsmen for human rights, children's rights and business rights.
Commenting on the speech by Human Rights Ombudsperson Ella Pamfilova, Putin gave a quote: "It is time to speak up in Russia's defense or we will be totally bullied."
